I just got Cold Steel Viking Sword with Leather and Wood Scabbard.Nice SwordBy OdinI AM a historical full contact weapons specialist and find Cold Steel Cuttlery's products to be exceptional. I even have thier polyeurothane practice weapons.The blade is finely crafted and is easily sharpened with a nice EZE Lap diamond sharpener, the high carbon steel allows it to keep a good edge much longer than conventional iron swordcrafting and is a pound or so lighter, which makes it very easy to spear and slash!I got it on sale for $263, albeit it normally runs for around $400...I would not buy it for $400, however it is an extreme value at $250 or thereabouts ~smiles~I AM editing this, as I have now owned this sword for a while, I have used it while Snowshoeing and Backpacking in the wilderness in deep snowpacks, it was used as a machette, woodsplitter, and kept the wolves at bay ~grins~.
